This is a picture of the purlbee color-blocked bias blanket I have now nearly finished. The knitting is done I just have the weaving in the ends and the tassels to do. I love it. It is smaller than I was expecting but perfect for just cuddling on the couch.
I am planning on finishing all those details tonight and then working on a project I just started last night. It is another shawl and for my mother. I forget what the pattern is called but it is this beautiful lacy almost leafy pattern. We had picked out the yarn when she was up here last. It is this beautiful variegated purple yarn that goes from lavender to a brighter purple to white. It is spectacular and fun to work with.
I will post pictures when the blanket is all finished but it already looks so good!
