I have written because my hands are too busy knitting. I have knit I think four pairs of socks, a shawl and started on another shawl all within the last four weeks. It has been busy. I finished the pair of socks for my mother. Finished 2 pair of socks for myself in this beautiful color striping yarn. Will post pictures of those soon. Did a pair of scrappy socks (first picture) and the started project with the red color is a new shawl that is going to be for my mother as well. I finished a color shifting shawl which is so comfy. I just need to weave in the ends but it is made from Road to China Fingering Silk blend. So wonderful.
I am tying the quilt still. It is slow going but it has been fun. Hoping to finish that by the end of this month so I can start on my next quilt. Learned a lot and the lessons will be taken in to account. I am finding it still so much easier just to sit and knit than quilt. I know quilting takes time and patience and I do enjoy it but knitting is getting so effortless for me. We shall see how my quilting adventure turns out!
